Formerly the residence of some of Norway’s most powerful people, the Archbishop’s Palace is immediately adjacent to the cathedral. Today it functions as a museum, home to some original relics from the cathedral and a fascinating tale of its construction and restoration through a series of exhibits and a subtitled movie.
